I just want to assure you guys that I am working hard on this application. I got the database to work again. So now I have done some major revamp with the code.
The client signs in 150% faster than before. If it still doesn't for you, then its either your pc or your connection. Or at times it can even be the database is down or slow. I have no control over that.
I am thinking of moving to a dedicated Windows server in the future. But I dont want to go there yet. My task is first to get users and then to to make a switch. The only way I make the switch is if everyone donates money to buy the server for 3 years. This would cost $4680 with netfirms. It would give us 2500 gb data transfer and 150 gig space with 5 domains, unlimited database access and everything we need to run our games and sites with support for PHP and MYSQL.
I am looking into other plans as well.
As far as the rest of the program... I have added some tools to detect multi accounts and some tools for the administration in general. I am working on a couple of new features for you guys and the galaxy editor. Stay tuned as always...

I just updated the program again. Just goto the download page and get it. For those who are downloading this for the first time, you should download Version 0.02 and replace it with 0.03 or else the game wont work.
Here are some changes:
*Bug fixes galore... Should be fewer crashes. Although the speed is still the same. *A slight redesign thats probably not noticable. *You can now view the Matrix capabilities of your character. *You can now view your NPC's if you have any. *All features not yet programmed into the game have been disabled on the menu... Enjoy and tell me what you think so far...
Please note that you need ODBC drivers 3.51 to run this game.So if you dont have it, follow the download link to get it.
Keep in mind that this is just a pre-release, or BETA version of the game. In other words, once you create the player character, dont get to used to it becouse I am gonna be resetting the game world. I am just trying to get an idea of what you guys think of it.

If there are problems, please remember that this is a BETA version. Infact, I am looking for you guys to find the bugs and keep in mind that all the rules are not set in stone. I am basically trying to mimic http://www.swcombine.com . It is thanks to their inspiration that I am developing this game.
